Assam: ‘Sange Sange Congress’ programme held in Thowra Constituency

DEMOW: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee in association with Thowra Block Congress Committee had organized the “Sange Sange Congress” programme in various places of Thowra Constituency on Thursday. Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhupen Kumar Borah took part in the programme. He interacted with the people of Koiborta Dalani Mising Gaons of Saragua Gaon Panchayat near Demow of Thowra Constituency on Thursday. He took part in four meetings in Thowra Constituency on Thursday. While talking to the media here on Thursday, Bhupen Borah said that when the Congress party will come to power then they will give free electricity up to 200 units. He alleged that 90 percent of women have not got the Orunodoi Scheme. He said when Congress will come to power they will give Rs.2500 to all the general women of Assam in the Nalakshmi Scheme on 9th of every month. Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhupen Kumar Borah was accompanied by Rana Goswami, working president, Bhaskar Barua, Titabar MLA along with other Congress leaders.
