NAZIRA: In a small tea tribe family, a young man named Sujit Chacha of Bhogbari Lekampathar village of Sapekhati has been showcasing his incredible talent in creating sculptures from abandoned plant materials, including tea tree trunks, since he was eight years old. Despite his remarkable skill, Sujit Chacha’s journey as an artiste has been hindered by a lack of funds.

Sujit Chacha’s sculptures, which include intricate depictions of animals and birds, have been produced in the thousands at his home. However, his aversion to publicity has kept him out of the spotlight, and he has not received any government assistance to support his craft.

The talented young man is eager to take his art to the next level, but financial constraints are holding him back. With no external support, Sujit Chacha’s future as an artiste remains uncertain.

The local community has urged the government to recognize Sujit Chacha’s talent and provide him with the necessary support to pursue his passion.
