Assam Senior Citizens Sanmilan’s Demow branch celebrates 11th foundation day

DEMOW: The 11th foundation day of Assam Senior Citizens Sanmilan’s Demow branch was organized in Demow Girls High School on July 2. As per the schedule, the flag was hoisted by Khagen Chandra Borah, President of the organization, while the lamp lighting and smriti tarpan were done by Horesh Handique, Vice-President. An open session was organized where Dr Prodip Borgohain, retired SDM & HO, was present as a keynote speaker. Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Demow constituency, was present in the programme and gave his valuable speech. Bokul Dutta, Principal of Demow Higher Secondary School, Uday Dutta, Principal of Demow Girls High School, along with other dignitaries were also present.
