DHEKIAJULI: A two-day long Shree Shree Shani Puja was organized with spiritual fervour at Ward No. 6 in Dhekiajuli, drawing hundreds of devotees from across Sonitpur and Udalguri districts. The grand celebration, held on July 23 and 24, witnessed a large gathering of worshippers seeking the divine blessings of Shani Maharaj, the lord of justice and discipline. The puja began on July 23 at 5:00 am with a serene Arati followed by Ganesh Puja. In the evening, a soulful Naam Kirtan was held after the 7:00 pm Arati, filling the air with devotional chants. On the concluding day, July 24, the programme began with Morning Kirtan at 5:00 am, followed by Havan at 7:30 am, and Purnahuti at 11:15 am, marking the spiritual conclusion of the sacred ritual. Devotees participated with deep devotion, offering prayers to Shani Devata for relief from hardships and success in life. The atmosphere resonated with the divine energy of Shani mantras, reminding devotees of his cosmic power and grace. Organizers expressed gratitude to all who attended and contributed to the successful completion of the Shani puja, reinforcing the spiritual unity and cultural harmony of the region.
