ASSAM: Sonitpur Celebrates Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 with Tricolor-Themed Sports Events

Sonitpur: The District Sports Officer (DSO) of Sonitpur marked Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 with three spirited events held across the district, blending fitness with national pride.

In Sootea, a colorful cycle rally in collaboration with Gyan Vikash Academy saw cyclists carrying the tricolor through the streets, inspiring the community. Dhekiajuli hosted a walkathon with Dhekiajuli Higher Secondary School, where participants marched together in a peaceful show of unity. At Tezpur, the district headquarters, residents of all ages joined a mass jogging program organized with Government Girls Higher Secondary School, celebrating the national flag in motion.

The coordinated celebrations, supported by local schools and academies, brought together citizens from different corners of Sonitpur, showing how sports can strengthen both health and patriotism.
