Assam: Sonitpur DC completes Self-Enumeration for Census 2027

TEZPUR: As part of the ongoing self-enumeration process under the Houselisting Operation and Housing Census (HLO) of Census 2027 (Phase I), District Commissioner-cum-Principal Census Officer of Sonitpur, Ananda Kumar Das, on Thursday completed his self-enumeration through the dedicated portal se.census.gov.in. The process was facilitated by a team led by the Executive Officer, Tezpur Municipal Board-cum-Charge Officer, Sharon Thomas, at the official residence of the district commissioner. DC Das appealed to all residents of Sonitpur to complete their self-enumeration within the notified period and encourage their family members, friends, neighbours, and colleagues to do the same. He also urged citizens to extend full cooperation to the enumerators during the Houselisting Operation and Housing Census, scheduled to be conducted from August 17 to September 15.

Following the district commissioner's self-enumeration, the Census team also visited the office of Senior Superintendent of Police, Sonitpur, Barun Purkayastha, where his self-enumeration was completed.
