Assam: Sootea Anchalik Panchayat holds oath-taking ceremony

JAMUGURIHAT: The oath-taking ceremony of Sootea Anchalik Panchayat was held at the conference hall of Sootea Development Block on Monday. Bharati Das took oath as President, and Doyal Tasa as Vice-President of Sootea AP. The other members who took oath were Baby Rajbangshi, Ganesh Bhattarai, Bishal Rautiya, Ratul Hazarika, Amrita Aley, and Rashmi Thapa. Manash Kumar Saikia, CDC, Nadua co-district office administered oath to all. Naduar MLA Padma Hazarika attended the ceremony and addressed the gathering.
