Assam Tea Tribes Students’ Association moves NFR Authority

MERAPANI: The Furkating branch of the Assam Tea Tribes Students’ Association (ATTSA) has given a memorandum to the railway (NFR) authority of Furkating to stop the Intercity Express (Ghy-Mxn-Ledo) at Jamuguri railway station, said Akan Gowala, the president of the Assam Tea Tribes Students’ Association branch.
In the same memorandum, the student body demanded that the railway platform should be built high so that passengers do not face any difficulty in boarding and getting down from the train.
