GUWAHATI: At a time when a major challenge was posed by private educational institutes, an unscrupulous act was witnessed among government school teachers in Assam created controversy.

One of the incidents happened at the Amranga Higher Secondary School, Kamrup.

According to reports, a teacher of the school taught the students sitting at his table in the school classroom with his legs folded.

Notably, a student in the class captured his bizarre act on a mobile video camera and uploaded the same on social media. It has drawn sharp reactions from a large number of social media users.

However, Amarjyoti Bhagawati, the accused teacher, claimed that his act was unintentional and he could guide the students well. " I could guide them properly. My act was unintentional," he added. Meanwhile, the school authority tender an apology to the people and condemned the teacher.

The other unscrupulous act of the teachers happened at an LP School in Gahpur, Biswanath. The teachers of the Ghagara Forest LP School where the unexpected incident happened, allegedly, assigned an 11-year-old girl to impart learnings to the students.

The girl, who is not a student of the school, said that she was asked by the teachers to impart learning to them.

Sources said that there are two teachers appointed at the school who often remain absent. The teachers could not give satisfactory reply regarding their activities to local journalists.
