KOKRAJHAR: Keeping in view the severe traffic congestion in the BTC headquarter town of Kokrajhar, the passenger buses will now have designated stoppages at specific private bus terminals from Wednesday onwards. The move is a relief for Kokrajhar residents from traffic congestion to a great extent. On this occasion, a private organization named ‘UN Brahma Public Vehicle Terminus’ has taken a significant initiative for the first time to address the burning issue of traffic congestion in the busy Kokrajhar town, which has been welcomed by the residents. Accordingly, buses on the Kokrajhar-Bilasipara route will now stop at the Narabari bus terminus. Similarly, buses on the Kokrajhar-Salakati and Kokrajhar-Bahalpur routes will stop at Owabari, and those on the Kokrajhar-Karigaon route will stop at the Bhawanipur bus terminus.
