The yatra began at the Cultural Institute Hall and proceeded through Haflong Township before concluding at the DHAC Parking Ground. Hundreds of enthusiastic participants—including school children, ex-servicemen, Army veterans, and local citizens—joined the march in solidarity and support of Operation Sindoor.

The rally witnessed the participation of several prominent figures, including Chief Executive Member of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC), Debolal Gorlosa; Assam Minister Nandita Gorlosa; Executive Members and Members of the Autonomous Council (MACs) of DHAC; war veterans; and dedicated BJP karyakartas.

Speaking to the media during the event, CEM Debolal Gorlosa and Minister Nandita Gorlosa expressed that the spontaneous and powerful march delivered a strong message: the people of India stand united with their soldiers in defending the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.

Several war veterans from Dima Hasao also shared their views with the media. They stated that although they are retired, they remain ready and willing to return to service if the nation calls. Expressing their frustration with Pakistan’s repeated provocations, they urged the Government of India to remain cautious and not place trust in Pakistan anymore.
