Assam: Training programme held at Doomdooma

In view of the new education policy, this training programme was considered to be beneficial for smooth transition of implementation procedure.

Doomdooma: A two-day training programme of the president, vice-president, member-secretary and other members of the School Management and Development Committees (SMDC) of 10 secondary and higher secondary schools of Doomdooma zone was held at Doomdooma Hoonlal HS School on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Dhanesh Prasad Singh and Ranjit Bikash Chetia trained the president, vice-president, member - secretary and one each of teachers and guardians members of such committees as resource persons. On the first day of the training programme, Olip Khan, Principal, Hoonlal HS School welcomed the guests while Bitopan Hazarika, Inspector of Schools(IS), Tinsukia district exhorted the presidents and the members of the SMDC to engage themselves wholeheartedly for the infrastructural as well as academic department of their respective schools. In view of the new education policy to be implemented by the government, this training programme was considered to be beneficial for smooth transition of implementation procedure.
