TINSUKIA: Officials said on Monday that a truck carrying two individuals, including the driver, turned turtle near Tinsukia, Assam. The event reportedly happened in Ledo Town in Jagun in the Tinsukia district. According to reports, the truck that was involved in the incident was transporting coal.

One of the two people who perished instantly in the ensuing tragedy was the truck's driver. Two additional people were hurt in the event. Additionally, it has emerged that the coal smuggling network attempted to conceal the entire affair; nevertheless, it was discovered after authorities found the wrecked vehicle.

In Assam's Sonapur, a Service Selection Board (SSB) jawan was struck by a passing motorist yesterday, and he was killed instantly. The incident allegedly occurred while he was attempting to cross the street and was struck by a speeding driver in front of the Sonapur College gate. Manipur-born S Benjamin has been identified as the dead.

The voyager then crashed into a pond in Kachutali Pathar Village, but the people on board managed to escape unharmed. The car's driver attempted to flee the scene in the meantime. In an accident that occurred in the Karbi Anglong district earlier in the day, one person died and 14 people were hurt.

The event reportedly happened at a picnic area in Longvoku, Manja, in Karbi Anglong. The tragedy happened when the vehicle they were riding in had brake failure and crashed. In the car, one person passed away immediately, while 14 other people were hurt. Rakesh Kru was the person who had passed away.

It was revealed that the gang was leaving from Morigaon and going to Manja for a picnic. While the injured were brought to a local hospital for treatment, the deceased's body was sent for a post-mortem. Authorities were told that an inquiry into the incident had begun.
