Assam: Two Labourers Die of Suffocation In Septic Tank In Nagaon District

Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, two labourers suffocated to death, when they entered an underground septic tank of a house at Kaliabor's Bengenaati in the Nagaon district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Bulbul Biswas of Baruaati and Dilip Mandal of Kawaimari.

As per reports, the two workers faced breathing difficulties after entering the tank which was closed for several days and died. On the other hand, another labourer managed to come out of the tank.

Reportedly, a total of three labourers were working on the construction site of one Maheswar Basumatary.

Upon receiving the information of the same, a team of police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies and sent it to Nagaon for postmortem.
