Assam: Two MCLAs Take an Oath as BTC Executive Members in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: Two MCLAs of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) took the oath of office and secrecy as Executive Members (EM) in a solemn swearing-in ceremony held at the BTC Legislative Assembly Hall, Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar, on Saturday.

The newly inducted EMs are Sajal Kumar Singha, representing the Srirampur constituency, and Saikhong Basumatary, elected from the Chirang constituency. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by the BTC Principal Secretary, Akash Deep. The ceremony was graced by the BTC Chief Pramod Boro, Speaker of the BTC Legislative Assembly Kati Ram Boro, MP Joyanta Basumatary, EMs, and several other dignitaries.
