Assam: Two poachers identified as Sontosh Guwala and Raghur Ghor arrested in Lumding

NAGAON: Two poachers identified as Sontosh Guwala and Raghur Ghor hailing from the Lumding Mudabasti area, were arrested on Friday by a team of forest personnel from the Lalpahar area under the Lumding reserve forest.

Sources claimed that the poachers were arrested while they were planning to poach wild animals in the forest. Forest personnel immediately seized two handmade guns as well as live ammunition from their possessions and a case under the Wildlife Act was registered in this regard, sources added.
