Assam: UCO Bank organizes Resources, MSME, and Agri carnival at Biswanath Chariali

BISWANATH CHARIALI: A Resources, MSME, and Agri carnival was organized at Biswanath Chariali on Tuesday under the aegis of UCO Bank. A large number of bank officials including Deputy General Manager Riaz KM from Kolkata office, Zonal GM NP Singh, Zonal Deputy GM Hasan Ijaj Hasmi, Amit Kumar Shrivastav, the Officer for the Micro And Small Enterprises and Agriculture sector, District Officer Acharya Sonowal, along with the Chief Manager of the Nagaon branch Pranjal Borah, Chief Manager of Tezpur branch Anil Kumar, and Chief Manager of Biswanath Vishal Kumar, held discussions with the customers.

During the interaction, the officers elaborated on various lending practices, payment norms, etc. of the bank. They dwelt at length about the loans given by banks for various small and medium enterprises, including home loans, transfer of loans from other banks, interest on loans, agricultural loans, loans under the Surya Ghar Yojana, merchant loans, loans for contractors, loans for purchase of vehicles, etc. Earlier, the bank officials welcomed the customers with gamochas and mementos.

The top officials of the bank also answered various queries of the customers of the bank while the customers present there requested prompt action in sanctioning loans. At the meeting, loans were presented to several customers.
