“We demand President’s rule in West Bengal due to the increasing violence incidents on Hindus. The Mamata Banerjee government have failed to protect the Hindus. Every day the Hindus are facing atrocities in Bengal, their houses are torched, properties were vandalized. The Murshidabad communal violence have proved that the government of West Bengal have failed to protect the Hindus and for vote bank they are not doing anything against the miscreants,” said Dimbeswar Hazarika, president of VHP, Dibrugarh.

Hazarika said, “We have submitted memorandum to President’s of India through Dibrugarh  District Commissioner Bikram Kairi. The Mamta Banerjee government is not taking any action against the miscreants. The police in Bengal have failed to control the unruly mob who vandalized public property.”

“After the violence the Hindus are starting to flee from Murshidabad. President’s rule is the only solution to bring peace and stability in West Bengal,” Hazarika said.
