Assam: Woman Cuts Off Man’s Genital As An Act Of Self Defence

She mentioned that his family members threatened her to not report the matter to the police.

GUWAHATI: A brave heart cuts off a man’s genital when he allegedly tried to rape her. The incident has been reported from Assam’s Batadrava, on 1st of March, Wednesday. 

As an act of self defence, the woman cuts off the man’s genital with a sharp edged object which was hidden under her bed. As per the reports, the accused lived next door to the woman. 

On the night of 1st March, the culprit entered into her house and attempted to physically molest her. The man is currently being treated in the Nagaon Civil Hospital. 

As per source, the accused’s condition is critical. Nonetheless, the woman has lodged an FIR against the matter in Batadrava police station. While interacting with the media, the woman informed that the accused has a history of sexually abusing other women as well. 

Furthermore, she mentioned that his family members threatened her to not report the matter to the police. On the other hand, Batadrava police has initiated an investigation into the matter.

On suspicion of physically and psychologically assaulting a student, the principal of a senior secondary school in Assam's Kamrup district was taken into custody.

The Kalatoli Kathmi Anchalik Senior Secondary School in Kamrup's Boko has received reports of the incident. Rafiqul Alam has been identified as the principal.

According to reports, Alam was detained on the final day of his tenure as the school's principal. According to reports, Helmina Begum, a student, chose suicide on January 7 after ingesting poison.

Following the event, her mother filed a police report (FIR) against the principal, Rafiqul Alam, stating that he had physically and mentally abused the student, which was the reason for him taking this action.

But accusations have also been made against four other people, including a woman. The incident is currently the subject of an extensive investigation by the Boko Haram police.
