Assam: Woman Kills Alcoholic Husband Who Abused Her In Mangaldai
Guwahati: Following an argument, a wife beat her husband to death on Wednesday, in Assam's Mangaldai town.
According to reports, the incident took place in the Kachari Pura area, Mangaldai.
Both the husband and wife named Rajita Bodo and her husband Prafulla Bodo had a fight after the latter got drunk early in the morning. Later, the flight went out of control and Prafulla Bodo sustained fatal injuries.
While speaking media, the wife said that her husband regularly abused her after getting drunk.
On Monday, the husband started beating her with a piece of wood and eventually tried to beat her with an iron rod eventually the husband was killed in the fight.
In this regard, police have registered a case of murder at Mangaldai Sadar Police Station.
