PRAYAGRAJ: A woman from Assam's Biswanath Chariali who went missing at Prayagraj on Wednesday after she and other members of her family traveled to take a holy dip at the river Ganga during the ongoing Maha Kumbh has been found on Friday. Manju Devi Agarwal, the missing woman, was found at Prayagraj railway station, her youngest son informed.
The woman had left for Prayagraj with her family members on Monday, January 27, and reached the holy town on Wednesday. The entire family had gone to the Ganga riverbanks to have a holy bath on Wednesday afternoon when the woman's granddaughter first went missing.
The entire family began a search for the missing girl and was reunited with her, but the woman, who was told to sit at a particular place near the riverbank as others began a search for the missing girl, could not be found there when the others returned.
Family members of the woman said she was taken care of by members of the Aghori Akhada before she met an Army trooper from Assam who had heard about her going missing after watching a report on News Live and contacted the family from the numbers flashed in the news report.
