Assam: Women Gang Caught Stealing at Nagaon’s Mahamrityunjay Temple

Nagaon: A group of women allegedly carried out a theft at the renowned Mahamrityunjay Temple in Nagaon on Sunday evening around 5 PM. Disguised as devotees, the women gang stole mobile phones and wallets from unsuspecting worshippers.
Taking advantage of the heavy crowd during the holy month of Shrawan, the gang blended in and executed the theft without raising suspicion. The women are believed to be from outside Assam.

Following the incident, the Purani Gudam Police have initiated an investigation. The theft has left devotees worried, raising concerns over safety and security within the temple premises.
