Assam Women University to hold first convocation in Jorhat

JORHAT: Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi, who is the Chancellor of Assam Women University (AWU), will attend the first convocation to be held on the university campus on February 25, said Sujaya Kumar Chetia, Assistant Professor of AWU, on Monday. Governor Mukhi will deliver the convocation address and confer degrees to the students of the university. The university was established in the year 2013 and the first batch passed out in the year 2016.
