Guwahati: On Thursday, an Assam youth took to Twitter to call out the Assam government for failing to take care of the economical condition of its citizens and openly vowed to join the banned outfit ULFA-I in future.

The frustrated youth has been going through a financial crisis due to the COVID-19 lockdown that had been imposed in the state. He expressed his woes on Twitter which can be translated as, "Very soon I am going to join ULFA-I. This government has deceived only the Assamese people. Left out with no option for survival."

According to sources, the youth had tried to engage in startups during the lockdown but had failed to make his ends meet.

Losing all hope in sustaining himself due to lack of financial support, the youth declared that he would soon be joining the ULFA-I in the future as a means of livelihood.

However, the Assam Government has taken no action in connection to the tweet as of now. More details are awaited.
