GUWAHATI: Assam youth Dipjyoti Das of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) has been chosen to present his skills and abilities in seven countries.

The Cadet has made Assam proud by getting selected for training among 17 directorates. Dipjyoti is a student from Sibsagar Commerce College and at present, he is in Sri Lanka attending an occasion of skill presentation.

It is a proud moment for the state of Assam as Dipjyoti is selected as the only candidate from Northeast India to show his skills associated with his training in seven nations. A Campus interview in Sibsagar Commerce College was held to select students for training in various reputed organizations and companies.

It is also a proud milestone for the College itself that during the campus drive its students not just the NCC but many other well deserve students from different departments of the college have been chosen for training after the completion of the Campus interview.

On 21 October, 10 talented students from the Department of Hospitality Management of Sibsagar Commerce College were selected for a training programme at a seven-star hotel called the Efcee Sarovar Portico.

Moreover, the students from the sixth semester of the BCA department of the college have been chosen for the well-known company called WIPRO. Those students are Tuljit Gogoi, Ankita Singh, and Ankita Bhagawati. Some of the students from the same department such as Animesh Hazarika, Lakshita Hazarika, and Prasanjit Manna are selected for the company of Tech Mahindra.

All these selections show the hard work of the students as well as Professors concerned about their students and particular subject. The college has made a lot of improvement throughout the period of lockdown and the pandemic by gaining success in various sectors.
