Assamese short story book 'Manik aru Anannya' released in Nagaon

NAGAON: 'Manik aru Anannya' a book of Assamese short stories penned by Kabita Bora Kalita was ceremonially released at a prestigious function held at Puranigudam Anirban Gusthi on Sunday.

Paran Kr Boruah, president of Nagaon Zila Sahitya Sabha ceremonially released the book. Chidananda Deva Goswami, Assamese literary critic and announcer of Nagaon Radio Centre graced the occasion as chief guest. The budding Assamese poet Basanta Koushik Bhagawati anchored the entire programme while Jogal Chandra Deva Goswami chaired the book release function. Significantly, the book was published by Birikh, one of the leading publication of Nagaon.
