Assamese singer Zubeen Garg's father has tested COVID-19 positive: Reports

Guwahati: Renowned Assamese singer Zubeen Garg's father and his wife Garima Saikia Garg's parents have tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus on Friday, September 11, said reports.

According to reports, all 3 patients have been shifted to COVID Care Centre at IIT Guwahati in Amingaon, North Guwahati.

All 3 infected persons were residing in Zubeen Garg's father's flat in Kahilipara, Guwahati.

With 97,570 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in India, the national coronavirus cases tally has gone beyond the 46 lakh mark, the central government said on Saturday.
