ATASU demand to increase seats in Demow College

DEMOW: The leaders of All Tai Ahom Students' Union (ATASU), Demow Regional Committee submitted a memorandum to the Principal of Demow College on Thursday.

In the memorandum, they stated that compared to previous years, in the year 2021 the pass percentage in the HSLC and HS exam was high. Hence it was necessary for colleges to increase the number of seats this time in order to accommodate more students. The students' union urged the Principal of Demow College to increase the number of seats in Demow College so that more students could avail education in the college.
