Avantika Routh to Represent Assam in National Youth Parliament

Tinsukia: Avantika Routh, an active NSS Volunteer of Women's College, Tinsukia and a student of BA 3rd Semester with Honours in Political Science, has been selected to represent Assam in the National Youth Parliament in New Delhi.

In an online competition organized by NSS and NYK, Avantika, a resident of Guijan Tinsukia, was selected from Tinsukia district for her speech on 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' in the State Youth Parliament. In the state-level, more than 50 NSS and NYK Volunteers participated throughout the State where Avantika shared her opinion about 'Ek Bharat Shrestra Bharat'. In a tough competition, she defeated her opponents and paved her way to the National Youth Parliament which will be held in New Delhi on March 8 and March 9, 2022. The Principal of the college, Dr. Rajib Bordoloi and other faculty members along with NSS officials expressed happiness for her achievement.
