Awareness and mock drill programme held near Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Fire and Emergency Services Department of Doomdooma Station and Civil Defense Department, Tinsukia conducted an awareness and mock drill programme at Rupai High School, Rupai Siding near Doomdooma on Saturday. The objectives was to create awareness about how to fight fire and what to do in an emergency. Its another purpose was to create awareness on precautions to be taken during disasters and rescue works. The programme was attended by Deputy Controller in charge of Civil Defence Department, Tinsukia, Rupanta Sonwal, Deputy Chief Warden Manoranjan Moran, Disaster Management, Doomdooma Circle Field Officer Bikash Moran, Fire and Emergency Services Department Doomdooma, F/M Lakhinandan Konwar, Shyam Mandal, DVR Jayanta Barua.
