Awareness Programme on Victims of Acid Attack and Drug Abuse held in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: An awareness programme on “Legal Services to Victims of Acid Attacks Scheme-2016 & NALSA (Drug Abuse Scheme) 2015” was organized by The People’s Aid (Trust) in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kokrajhar at Kokrajhar Govt. Girls HS School, Kokrajhar on Friday.

Secretary Bidyut Medhi, DLSA RN Brahma Civil Hospital Dr. Anmol Kumar Shah and Advocate Daina Duara graced the programme as resource persons and delivered their speech on the topic. President of The People’s Aid (Trust) Nava Kumar Basumatary was also present in the said programme; he delivered his welcome address. The programme was also attended by Principal Govt. Girls H S School Jharna Brahma, Secretary, The People’s Aid Dr. Chithum Basumatary, Paralegal Volunteer Noropati Brahma and teachers of Kokrajhar Govt. Girls H S School. As many as 300 students of Kokrajhar Govt. Girls H S School participated in the said programme.
