Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan ArogyaYojna Cards distributed

TINSUKIA: The ceremonial distribution of Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan ArogyaYojna Cards was done officially by Punakon Baruah, Chabua MLA, at the conference hall of Block Development Office, Guijan Development Block on Monday in the presence of Chinmoy Pathak, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Health) Tinsukia and other district and Block level health officials of Tinsukia district.

All the ration card holders irrespective of family size, age or gender will be entitled under this scheme. This scheme covers both rural and urban areas said Punakon Baruah. More than 50 beneficiaries from Guijan development block were present on the occasion and cards were distributed to them using the online PMJAY portal. ASHAs and ASHA supervisors were also present along with their beneficiaries to collect the PMJAY cards. The ADC Pathak appraised the beneficiaries about the health insurance scheme which was launched by the Prime Minister in 2018.
