Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Exporters' conclave held in Nalbari

NALBARI: Synchronizing with the activities of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an exporters' conclave was organized by the District Industries and Commerce Centre, Nalbari on Friday at Sayambar Bibah Bhawan. "Tradition and culture of the district will reach national or international stage through such conclaves," said 59 LAC MLA Jayanta Malla Baruah. Deputy Commissioner Gitimani Phukan said that Nalbari is very promising in exported commodities. Such a conclave will make the entrepreneurs aware about the systems of exporting goods. 20 SHGs, entrepreneurs, industrialists, exporters from different fields took part in this event.

Manashi Chakravarty, a scientist delivered speech on 'Export Potentialies of North- East'. Bhaskar Baruah, assistant director of Export and Promotion Council for Handicrafts elaborated on exporting of handicrafts items.
