Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: Weapon display organized in Tinsukia district

DOOMDOOMA: To commemorate celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Rupai Battalion under the aegis of Spear Corps organized weapon display with a theme 'Know Your Army' at Radha Krishna Academy, Kakapather in Tinsukia district on Tuesday.

A variety of military equipments and weapons were displayed and information kiosks were established to share all the information regarding enrollment in the Army. Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and jawans interacted with the young children. About 600 students, NCC cadets, parents and teachers attended the event. The event concluded with interactive session aimed at invigorating and motivating youth to join Indian Army.
