Babul Supriyo campaigns for BJP candidate Rameswar Teli in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: In first electioneering campaign at Tinsukia on Tuesday to support Rameswar Teli, the BJP candidate for 13-Dibrugarh HPC, the Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries, Babul Supriyo called upon a gathering of thousand people at Sahid Piyali Phukan Playground to vote for Teli while criticizing the autocratic Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal.

“You are fortunate to have a down-to-earth Chief Minister, so also a self-confident Prime Minister at the Centre who relentlessly formulated various scheme to uplift the poor and middle class people,” said Supriyo. He was confident that Teli would take lead of more than 3 lakh votes in Dibrugarh constituency.

Addressing the rally, State Industries Minister Chandra Mohan Patowari said that Tarun Gogoi had embarked on a damaging exercise after forging an alliance with the AIUDF. District BJP leaders like MLA Sanjay Kishan were present in the meeting.
