Baby care centers to be introduced in government offices soon

GAURISAGAR: Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya vide a letter issued on November 15, directed all heads of offices under the district to immediately take initiatives for making arrangements of a designated baby feeding care facility in their respective offices. She has also directed that while making these arrangements, enough safety and security should also be ensured.

The Deputy Commissioner issued this order feeling an urgent need for such arrangements to uphold and protect the dignity of women and mothers and also to ensure privacy to them. The working mothers now will heave a sigh of relief and have their designated space for baby feeding and care while simultaneously performing their official duties. The women visitors can also avail of this facility in government offices.
