Baghargaon villagers protest against Northeast Frontier Railway in Boko

BOKO: People of Baghargaon village raised their voice against the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on Saturday evening.

Rahul Ali, a villager of Baghorgaon village under Boko LAC, said that NFR was working on dual railway line project in the area. But since the last few days, due to continuous rain the road which the villagers use has become muddy and deplorable. Moreover, the trucks of NFR use the road for dual railway line project and the condition of the road has worsened.

Rahul said that when the villagers urged NFR to repair the road, the railway staff allegedly refused and asked the villagers to discuss the matter with the contractor. He said that the villagers would approach the Circle Officer in this regard.
