Bangladeshi immigrant arrested in Dhing

Batadrava, April 4: A Bangladeshi immigrant illegally residing in Langia village under DhingPolice Station, gaon was arrested on Tuesday, a police official said.

Acting on a tip-off,a police team led by EiynSinha, Officer in-charge of Dhing Police Station, arrested the Bangladeshi who was declared as foreigner by the gaon District Foreigners Tribul. The foreigner, identified as Iraj Ali, son of Isub Ali who migrated to Assam after 1971, was sent to the Foreigners Detention Camp in Tezpur, the sources added.
