BARPETA: The Barpeta district administration is ready to protect people from coronavirus attack.
The district administration has started awareness among the people in order to prevent this virus and cleanliness drive has also started. Two wards have been established at Kalgachiya Civil Hospital and at the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) and two ambulances have also been kept ready for an emergency.
To make the people of the district aware of coronavirus, big hoardings have been displayed in the main places of the town. As per the order of the Deputy Commissioner, there will be strict notice against the entry of foreigners in hotels and guest houses of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta, Munindra Sarma has urged all people to keep away from crowded places and to maintain hygiene.
