Basanta Utsav observed by Doomdooma Sakha Lekhika Samaroh Samity

DOOMDOOMA: Doomdooma Sakha Lekhika Samaroh Samity observed ‘Basanta Utsav’ at its venue at Raghav Moran Path, Rupaisiding on Sunday with president Dr Mina Devi Baruah in the chair. For that, a special issue of the wall magazine Jyotisnata brought out under the editorship of Deepa Dutta Bhajani, was released by Sarifa Khatun Chaudhury, president of Tinisukia Zila Sahitya Mancha. Thereafter, competitions were held on Bihu naam, extempore speech and pitha-pona. The chief attraction of the day’s programme was Bishnu Nagar Mahila Samity’s performance which enthralled the audience.
