Basanti Puja celebrated by Demow Milan Jyoti Sangha

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Demow Milan Jyoti Sangha, Sri Sri Basanti Puja started from April 11 in Demow with religious fervour and devotion for four days. After the Maha Saptami Puja, Maha Astami Puja and Maha Navami Puja which were performed accordingly, the Basanti Puja was done by priest Sukumar Mukherjee. On April 14, women played with vermillion and after that the idol was immersed in Demow River.
