Basanti Puja organized by Demow Milan Jyoti Sangha begins

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Demow Milan Jyoti Sangha, Sri Sri Basanti Puja started from Thursday in Demow with religious fervour and devotion for four days. On Thursday, the idol was brought to the mandap and after that belbaran started. The dhol beating started in the mandap. The Maha Saptami Puja started on Friday and people thronged the mandap and offered prayers and lit earthen lamps before the Goddess Basanti and after that the Maha Saptami Puja Prasad was distributed among the people. The Maha Astami and Maha Navami Puja will be performed on Saturday.
