SIVASAGAR: Vehemently protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB)-2016, nine activists of the Demow town committee unit of Brihattar Asomiya Yuva Mancha (BAYM) staged a mundan protest at Demow Chariali in Sivasagar district on Thursday.
BAYM Demow town committee president Jadumoni Kalita, Demow town committee secretary chief Jaan Baruah, Bhadraj Buragohain, Karan Gogoi, Kankan Gogoi, Prodip Kumal, Suresh Kuresi, Bhairab Deuri and Pronab Kalita shaved their heads as a mark of protest against the controversial bill.
The activists came down heavily against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and minister Himanta Biswa Sarma regarding their stand on the controversial Bill.
