DHUBRI: A special organizing meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), district committee was held at the party office at Golakganj recently under the chairmanship of District BJP president, Prosenjit Dutta. The meeting discussed the distribution of ration cards from the end of January to February 10, distribution of Chief Minister’s Women Entrepreneurship Forms, cleanliness campaign at pilgrimage sites, media darshan of the revival of Lord Ram Chandra at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The party announced that it would hold house-to-house lighting, bike rallies by the Youth Morcha and series of meetings that include new voters, district working body, mandal committee, joint morcha, other meetings on assembly constituencies.
The meeting was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha State president Ashwini Roy Sarkar, former district president and chairman of Dhubri Municipal Board, Dr. Debamoy Sanyal and District President Prasenjit Dutta.
Besides them, eleven mandals, mandal morchas, district office bearers, district morcha office bearers, social media conveners, IT cell conveners, media conveners attended the meeting and resolved to strengthen the party at the grass root level in the district by implementing all the programmes directed by the party. The meeting was chaired by District General Secretaries Bhagirath Ojha and Nirmalya Pal and concluded with the National Anthem.
