NALBARI: Nalbari unit of Bharatiya Kishan Sangha staged dharna on Thursday against the government's economic policy in front of Pachim Nalbari revenue circle office.
The activists demanded MSP rate on paddy and other agri-products of farmers. They claimed that the price of agri - products in Assam does not correspond to the production cost. Consequently, the farmers suffer losses every season. Bharatiya Kishan Sangha's Nalbari unit submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the Circle Officer.
