Bhasha Sangkalpa Divas Observed by Axam Xahitya Xabha

Doomdooma: Bhasha Sangkalpa Divas was observed by Axam Xahitya Xabha recently to commemorate the establishment of Asamiya Bhasha Unnati Sashimi Sabha on that day in the year 1888 at Kolkata. The Doomdooma Sakha of this premier literary body of the State also observed Bhasha Sangkalpa Divas on Saturday. Secretary Deben Deka spoke on the subject in the midst of the programme ‘Antranga Alap’ organized on the last Saturday of every month. Saturday’s ‘Antranga Alap’ got underway with the theme- song Chira Senehi Mor Bhasha Janani. It was followed by recitation of self-composed poems.
