Bhergaon Tea Industries MD Shashikanta Barua donated Money to PM’s relief fund to fight COVID-19

KALAIGAON: Shashikanta Barua, managing director of Bhergaon Tea Industries Pvt. Lt and Shuklai Tea Company Pvt. Ltd, donated Rs 2 lakh to the Pradhan Mantri Arogya Nidhi to help the government in the fight against COVID-19. He also distributed free ration among daily wage labourers and poor people. The ration was distributed in the Bhergaon area of Udalguri district. Each packet of ration comprised of 5 kg rice, 1 kg dal, 2 kg potato, 500 gm salt and 200 mls mustard oil along with soap.
