Biennial session of North Lakhimpur Press Club from November 21
The biennial session of the North Lakhimpur Press Club (NLPC), the common forum of the headquarter journalists of Lakhimpur district, will commence from November 21 with a two-day long agenda.

LAKHIMPUR: The biennial session of the North Lakhimpur Press Club (NLPC), the common forum of the headquarter journalists of Lakhimpur district, will commence from November 21 with a two-day long agenda.
The programme of the event will begin with the unfurling of club flag by its present president at 9:00 am on November 21. The delegates' meeting and the next executive body constitution meeting will be held at 6:00 pm on the same day.
On the other hand, the agenda of the concluding day on November 22 will begin with the smriti tarpan programme. The open session-cum-public meeting will commence from 1:00 pm with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by Sumit Sattawan, the Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur. It will be inaugurated by former NLPC president and cultural figure Surajit Bhuyan. Tutumoni Phukan, the secretary of Assam Union of Working Journalists (AUWJ), will attend the programme as appointed speaker. Internationally acclaimed innovator Padma Shri Dr. Uddhab Bhorali will be present as special guest while Lakhimpur District Information and Public Relation Officer Mandira Chayengiya will attend the programme as invited guest.
