Bijnan Chetana Jatra organized by Assam Science Society Demow Branch concludes
DEMOW: Under the aegis of Assam Science Technology and Environment Council under the Department of Science, Technology and Climate Change, Government of Assam, the Assam Science Society Demow Branch had organized Bijnan Chetana Jatraagainst superstition on August 26, August 28 and August 29 in three schools.
On Tuesday, the Bijnan Chetana Jatra programme was organized in Bamrajabari High Medium School and it was the last day of the programme. Under the presidentship of Arup Kumar Dutta, president of Assam Science Society Demowbranch, the meeting was held.
KhirudDeori, Headmaster of Bamrajabari High Medium School, gave the welcome speech in the programme. Different programmes were organized on the day. DrWakidur Rahman, Librarian of Demow College, in his lecture spoke about how to overcome superstition and evil powers in the society.
