JORHAT: Bikramjit Baruah whose body was found on Monday from Bhekeli Sapori in Majuli had a last wish to tribute a song for the doctors serving the nation during the pandemic. But his last wish remained unfulfilled.

Bikram's voice cannot be heard by his near and dear one as the Majuli tragedy has washed away his dream.

After receiving the sad news, the entire Jorhat mourns for the loss of a savior, always ready to help the people. The savior now returns to the divine world, promising not to return.

Bikram's friend has recalled that Bikram was working on music which remains incomplete.

"Bikramjit doesn't know how to sing-song but despite it, he wanted to sing, as he wanted to tribute a song to doctors of the covid duty, who are selflessly working for the nation." said the friend.

His friends have said that Bikramjit was selflessly doing his work, he served in the remote places of Majuli but never complained about the challenges he had faced during his service.

The family and friends however accused the government for the Majuli incident.

The deceased man Bikramjit Baruah, who was found wearing a black shirt, was a doctor by profession. A team of officials reached the spot in Bhekeri Chapoli of Majuli after getting the information that a body has been spotted by people. The identification of the body was done in the presence of top-level officials of Majuli district.

Baruah, who belonged from Jorhat district, was an ENT specialist. He is survived by his father, wife, two children and many other relatives.
